Seeing Red Cars

To Bid or Not to Bid…Custodial Contracting

As the budget crisis looms, schools are looking at all areas of operations to reduce costs.  MSBO is hosting a workshop to help districts that are considering contracting their custodial services. Read more.


 


MSBO Board of Directors Ballot to Open April 11

MSBO Board of Directors approved the timeline and voting process for this year’s board election. The 2011-12 MSBO Board of Directors election will once again be held online. Members will have a 10-day window for voting. Voting will begin on Monday, April 11 and end on Wednesday, April 20, at 5 p.m. Active MSBO members will receive an e-mail inviting them to vote in the 2011-12 election. Read more.
 


Fingerprint Records – Be Prepared for Your District’s Audit

When you think of February, you often think of Groundhog’s Day, Valentine’s Day and even President’s Day weekend as a nice little break. The Mecosta-Osceola ISD had all of these this year plus an added bonus–a Michigan State Police, Criminal Justice Information Center informational audit of our fingerprint records. I doubt this will turn into a Hallmark holiday, but stranger things have happened! Read more.
