President's View...Michael M. Adamczyk–A Vision For The Future

We have just finished our first annual conference in Detroit, and I must say what a conference it was. MSBO set a record for conference attendance with 950 members registered. From everything I could observe, the conference was a resounding success. Read more


How Do We Approach 2010-2011 and Beyond?

The news from the May 15 Revenue Consensus is not optimistic. There is but a slight glimmer of hope on the horizon given that the economists are projecting a rebound in the economy in 2010. However, even with this rebound and even with $1.3 billion in federal stimulus monies, it appears that some form of reductions of State funding for K-12 education will occur if not in 2009-2010, then more assuredly in 2010-2011. 2009 SET SEG Fun Run/Walk

It was a great turnout! Fifty runners and walkers enjoyed the beautiful Detroit River Riverwalk with marvelous views of Canada and downtown Detroit as the backdrop for this year’s SET SEG 18th Annual Fun Run and Walk held at MSBO’s 71st Annual Conference. Read more
