ANNUAL ADVISERS CONFERENCE
January 29-30, 2009
This year, we are excited to bring Bill Sanders, a renowned, Michigan-based educational keynote speaker. Bill has a unique program to offer us at the conference that starts Thursday evening and continues Friday morning. He has spoken to schools across Michigan, maybe even yours, and is joining us for a stellar presentation. Advisers of all leadership groups will benefit from his message, "Are We Teaching or Touching Lives?" Walk away with tools, resources and ideas from him and our many other presenters.
In addition to Bill's offering, we will have sessions on lessening your load by using technology, robust election/selection procedures, freshmen transition and orientation programs, unique staff appreciation ideas, how to get your school to be more environmentally friendly and many more!

These Kids Need Our Help
This year’s State Charity of the Year is Penrickton Center for Blind Children. Penrickton is a private, non-profit five day residential and day care agency serving blind, multi-disabled children ages 1-12, located in Taylor, Michigan. With no fees ever being charged to families, all financial support is raised from individuals, service clubs, corporations, and foundations.

Let Us Help You Fundraise!
In order to assist schools with their fundraisers for Penrickton Center for Blind Children, we have purchased bracelets that your school can buy and then re-sell for donations. The bracelets are royal blue and have a raised print on them that says "See a Dream", surrounded on each side by a handprint. On the backside, "penrickton.com" is shown. The bracelets are available in lots of 100 for $1 each, or $100 per 100 bracelets. We have a limited supply left and can ship immediately or even bring to the Advisers Conference for pick-up. Money is not due until you send us your charity donation!
