Michigan schools continue to face financially challenging times and purchasing food for various child nutrition programs is no exception. Despite the challenges, not all schools are fully utilizing their United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) foods allocation (commodities). 
The SOS Coalition is pleased to announce that Peter Spadafore, assistant director of government relations for the Michigan Association of School Boards, will be joining Tom White at the helm of the effort to save our students, schools and state.
