Alternate Faculty Council Members
NHS/NJHS Q & A
Three members of our NHS are going before the Faculty Council regarding an incident that took place on a school sponsored field trip to Europe that is resulting in the students being considered for removal. Two of the five teachers on the faculty advisory board were chaperones on the trip. One of the parents thought that they might be biased in the appeal. Are there other ways to handle this? Can we find new Faculty Council Members? READ THE ANSWER!

Revisions to Student Board Election/Selection Process
For the 2010 Elections/Selections to the MASC/MAHS Board of Delegates, many things are changing! We invite you to read the new process on our website and share it with your students. This new process opens the door for students to serve only one (1) year or up to three (3) which means students aren't held to the odd/even center election rules - they can run any year of high school (except senior year of course). The process will be done in three parts - an application, an interview, and a ballot. Each Center (not sure of your Center? go here) will get a number of seats on the board based on membership in that region.

A Special Thank You
While I certainly missed being at the State Conference with everyone, it was a wonderful surprise to return to work last week and see the "It's A Boy" banner many of the attendees signed! We're still trying to read all the little messages on it! Thank you to everyone for your well-wishes.
