From the President: The Reason for the Season

In Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Scrooge becomes a cheerful giver only after having been visited by the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future. I believe the story is still popular today because Dickens was able to describe the ultimate miser. Scrooge found out in the brief period of one night that a miser, although tough to live with, makes a nice ancestor. Seriously, I believe at some point in time there may be or has been a little Scrooge in all of us. Allow me to explain. READ MORE
