Many Michigan Education Reforms May Be in Jeopardy

School has started and I am excited for my students, staff and our community. At a state level, the 2012-13 school year may prove to be a watershed year for education. With the proposed constitutional amendments to protect collective bargaining on the November ballot, many of the reforms that occurred last year may be in jeopardy.

School District Converts Building to House Growing Foreign Exchange Program
Lake Shore Public Schools started fostering a relationship with a school in Beijing, China in 2005. The program started out with having middle school students make two-week exchange trips.
